Dear Dispatches, Hello. My name is Charlotte and I live in NY. I have lived in the US for ten yrs now but I am originally from England. I am wondering if you are the Author of the poem "that little death you die" ? I believe you are but I couldnt find it on your blog. I left a brief message back in 2008 saying that I liked it. I tried to search the web with the line of that poem but couldnt find your blog from it so gave up the search till now when I found I had noted the name of your blog 2yrs ago!. Anyway! I just want to say that you are an incredible poet...and are you published? because if not - you should have all confidence to pursue this. I am not in that profession though have a background in the arts, but I very much appreciate poetry. I grew up in Liverpool, UK and the first poetry that grabbed me was local to my city - the likes of Roger McGough, Aidrian Henry and Brian Patten. You have a broad and terrific sense of humour too - poems are so much better than jokes! You create the most beautiful images and feeling in your work - rich in meaning yet they are so simple to read and understand. Anyway I love your work and will check by your blog again. By the way - if I want to send one of your poems to a friend - how can I acknowledge you in the way you would like. I will certainly add your blog url but for instance may I use your name?.Please let me know your preferences. All the best, Charlotte Catto misscatto@hotmail.com
